- Netflix and UNESCO have introduced a limited film competitors throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Themed, African Folktales Reimagined it is motivated by African Union 2063 Agenda’s Aspiration 5, which celebrates African cultural identity.
- Winners will be educated and mentored by field industry experts and be specified a spending budget to produce quick movies that will be screened on the streaming service in 2022.
- The competitors will operate from 14 Oct till 14 November 2021.
