Las Vegas’ art community mourns the death of Alex Huerta

The Las Vegas artwork community has missing a essential member. On January 20, beloved Downtown artist Alexander P. Huerta died owing to complications linked to ongoing health troubles. The 53-year-old was sometimes called the “Grand Previous Male of the Arts District” or the “Mayor of the Arts Factory,” where by he ran his studio-gallery Peace N’ Art Studio. Huerta was also a member of the three Baaad Sheep artwork collective.
