As B.C. battles wildfires across the province, there have been a range of suspicious fires in a variety of municipalities, individual from the vandalism and fire incidents at B.C. churches.

Suspected arson incidents have taken location in North Vancouver, Kelowna, and Salmo, in which a collection of seven fires have taken location.

The most current incident transpired in the Fraser Valley.  

According to the Abbotsford Law enforcement Division (AbbyPD), Abbotsford emergency products and services responded around 4 a.m. to a fire at a portion of the boardwalk bridge in Mill Lake Park, in the vicinity of the Bouquin Crescent West entrance.

Abbotsford Fire Services extinguished the blaze.

The fire, which is considered to have begun soon prior to 4 a.m., wrecked a section of the boardwalk, resulting in the composition becoming deemed unsafe for use.

The investigation into the incident proceeds on, and any one who has data or footage from the region is asked to phone AbbyPD at 604-859-5225.

In the meantime because of to incredibly dry problems and higher temperatures, the Vancouver park board is limiting overnight access to Stanley Park to guard it from potential fires.
