Anne del Castillo has been reappointed as the commissioner of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Mayor Eric Adams declared Wednesday.
Del Castillo was initial appointed as commissioner of media and enjoyment in 2019, shortly before the pandemic, by previous New York Metropolis Mayor Invoice de Blasio. In her part, del Castillo focuses on partnering with all locations of New York’s inventive economy, which include the film marketplace, the nightlife sector and the theater industry. Prior to her appointment, del Castillo served as chief functioning officer and common counsel for the Mayor’s Place of work of Media and Enjoyment for four yrs. Del Castillo, Kimball and Greene will serve as members of Adams’ financial growth workforce, tasked with serving to to aid the recovery of the New York City financial state across all sectors following the COVID-19 pandemic.
