“The deadline for submissions was Friday, February 21. As a reminder, past calendar year, the Minister of National Stability, the Hon. Wayne Caines introduced a partnership with Masterworks to host an exhibition in an exertion to elevate recognition about reducing violence in our community.

“The exhibition will showcase functions from a selection of community artists as effectively as contributions from five schools.

“Tomorrow [February 26] the Minister of National Stability, the Hon. Wayne Caines will formally open the Stay. Enjoy. Everyday living. Exhibition at the Masterworks Gallery, which will also see a unique performance from the learners of Dellwood Middle School – the 2017 winners of the Stay. Enjoy. Everyday living. Youth Expertise Showcase.”

Minister Caines explained right now, “We go on to concentrate our efforts on enacting a range of methods and initiatives to handle our concerns with anti-social conduct. Our Ministry remains fully commited to introducing programmes aimed at reducing violence. We’ve experienced achievement with our youthful persons and with the learners in our university technique wherever our Gang Violence Reduction Group [GVRT] have been difficult at operate.

“As an example, past summer season, we introduced the Gang Violence Reduction Team’s Function Placement and Mentoring Initiative, wherever 15 community businesses host 14 college student staff members for a six-week instruction programme.
