As arts venues try to get back again on an even keel, Bolton’s Octagon theatre has had a lot more unlucky timing than most – initially asserting its reopening just after a two-yr redevelopment as Covid loomed last February, then lastly opening its doors this week, with the town a hotspot yet again.
