Catherine Zeta-Jones is shelling out tribute to her father-in-law, screen icon Kirk Douglas, next his dying on Wednesday at age 103.
The actress — who is married to the celebrated star’s 75-calendar year-aged son, Michael Douglas — has been near with her father-in-law due to the fact she and Michael tied the knot in November 2000, frequently sharing sweet shots and tributes to the legendary actor on social media.
In remembering Kirk on Wednesday, Catherine posted a sweet black and white photo of her kissing her father-in-law on the cheek. “To my darling Kirk, I shall appreciate you for the rest of my existence. I pass up you currently. Slumber limited…” she captioned the pic.
Kirk just celebrated his 103rd birthday back again on Dec. 9, and Catherine commemorated the situation with a heartfelt snapshot of the Spartacus star sitting on her knee.
“This male on my knee, is 103!!!!! Pleased Birthday Pappy!!! I appreciate you with all my heart. 😘❤️” she wrote along with the snapshot.
Pursuing his dying, Michael confirmed the information of his passing and compensated tribute to his father in a heartfelt tribute on social media.
“It is with tremendous unhappiness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas still left us nowadays at the age of 103,” he wrote, in part. “To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived properly into his golden decades, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the will cause he believed in established a typical for all of us to aspire to. But to me and my brothers Joel and Peter he was just Father, to Catherine, a fantastic father-in-law, to his grandchildren and good-grandchild their loving grandfather, and to his wife Anne, a fantastic husband.”
