Canadian place singer Chad Brownlee has apologized just after submitting a conspiracy concept image criticized as racist and antisemitic on his social media accounts.
The musician from British Columbia issued the initial publish on Tuesday and then deleted it, even so some social media users captured a display seize of it.
The manipulated image depicts Jewish-American billionaire philanthropist George Soros with a chess board and pieces built up of protesters and the COVID-19 molecule.
Soros has been the goal of a lot of suitable-wing conspiracy theories, like claims he is funding anti-fascist activists in the protests towards racism and law enforcement brutality in the United States.

Reacting to social media anger more than the publish, Brownlee wrote on his Twitter and Instagram accounts that he apologizes for sharing an image “that was mistaken, inappropriate and could be perceived as racist.”
He extra his “intention in submitting the image was nothing at all of the sort,” even though he acknowledges “how men and women could effortlessly have found it that way.”
