The Town of Hamilton is trying to find submissions for VIVID 2020: The Town of Hamilton’s public art initiative.
A spokesperson reported, “Over the earlier five several years, the Town has reaffirmed its motivation to the arts and our area artists and mounted twenty parts of public art all around the Town together with murals, mosaics and the Chancery Lane lights.
“The VIVID Public Art Initiative is fully commited to operating with and supporting Bermuda’s area art companies as well as independent artists to aid curate and carry out public art installations in the Town of Hamilton, contributing to its mandate to be a lively town. The City’s intention through the art initiative is to deliver impactful parts of available art to the Town for each locals and readers to get pleasure from and celebrate.”
Sideya Dill, Marketing Coordinator, reported, ‘This year we’d definitely like to concentration on bringing much more sculpture art, or outside installations, to the Town. We hope that artists will be encouraged by our communities and lifestyle to produce eye-catching and thought-provoking parts that actually deliver vibrancy to the Town. I am excited to be the guide for this job and am actually hunting ahead to what our area artists will propose to produce.’
“Artists fascinated in distributing a proposal can obtain the Ask for for Proposal documents, outlining the scope of the job, from the Town workplaces in Town Corridor as of Monday, February third. The documents can also be located on the City’s web page as of February 1st.
“All submissions for thing to consider will have to be either digitally submitted below or shipped to Town Corridor reception by Monday, March 2nd at 5:00pm.
