Florida A&M University’s Harambee Pageant returns with a vibrant splash of new music and tradition to Cascades Park, 1001 S. Gadsden St., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26. The party is free and open up to the public.
Performers include Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts learners, the FAMU Gospel Choir, and Tallahassee Evenings Dwell!
The principal stage will element 6-time Grammy nominated, Ashanti Floyd, “The Mad Violinist,” one particular of the major producers, string arrangers, and performers. The competition will also welcome foods and merchandise distributors from across the Massive Bend and South Georgia.
The Harambee Competition is sponsored by the Town of Tallahassee, Leon County, Pay a visit to Tallahassee, FAMU Office of the President, FAMU Enterprise and Auxiliary Solutions, the FAMU Foundation, and Metz Culinary.
