(Reuters) – Matteo Bocelli, the son of renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, on Friday unveiled a new edition of “The Lion King” movie ballad “Can You Truly feel the Like Tonight,” the initially solitary from an album of classical variations of Disney tunes.
The complete “Disney Goes Classical” album will debut in October, Walt Disney Co and Universal New music Group’s Decca Documents explained in a assertion.
The album capabilities tunes from Disney movies including “The Jungle E-book,” “Frozen” and “Aladdin” and audio by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Other performers incorporate American soprano Renee Fleming.
Bocelli, 22, formerly sang a duet with his father, “Fall on Me,” which played throughout the closing credits of the 2018 Disney movie “The Nutcracker and The 4 Realms.”
“Can You Truly feel the Like Tonight” was prepared by Elton John and Tim Rice and received an Academy Award for best initial track in 1994.
