NEW YORK – Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl have teamed up for a challenging-rock pandemic anthem called “Eazy Sleazy.”

“It’s a tune that I wrote about coming out of lockdown, with some substantially essential optimism,” Jagger said in a assertion Tuesday. “Thanks to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar. It was a great deal of enjoyable functioning with him.”

The duo recorded the music and movie in distinctive studio areas — Jagger at property and Grohl in the Foo Fighters studio — and the lyrics mention “prison walls,” “virtual premieres,” figures that are “grim” and Zoom calls. Jagger complains: “I’ve obtained almost nothing left to use.”

The track also name-checks Invoice Gates, lampoons conspiracy theories and individuals who deny local weather improve and gleefully reveals “There’s aliens in the deep condition.”

But there looks to be hope. Jagger appears ahead and sees a “garden of earthly delights” when vaccines are administered and lockdown ends.

“Everything’s gonna get truly freaky/Alright on the night time/Shortly it’ll be a memory/You are seeking to keep in mind to neglect.”
