The Dwell. Really like. Everyday living. Anti-Violence Art Exhibition will now be held from February 26 to March 4, and the deadline for submissions has been extended till February 21st, with some $nine,000 in money prizes to be awarded.

A government spokesperson stated, “The Ministry of National Protection is advising that it has amended the dates for the Dwell. Really like. Everyday living. Anti-Violence Art Exhibition, which will be now held from February 26 – March 4, 2020.

“The Ministry is also extending the deadline for submissions for the exhibition till February 21, 2020.

“As a reminder, the Minister of National Protection, the Hon. Wayne Caines announced a partnership with Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art to host an artwork exhibition in an hard work to raise recognition about lessening violence in our neighborhood.

“The exhibition will be held from February 26 – March 4, 2020 and is open to all intrigued people, which includes grownups and youthful individuals – there is no age restrict.

“Submissions must be produced all over the concept, interpretation and/or strategy of lessening violence in the neighborhood. At the moment all over five schools and a selection of area artists have confirmed their participation in the Dwell. Really like. Everyday living. Anti-Violence Art Exhibition.

“Cash prizes totaling $nine,000 will be awarded for remarkable artwork in the subsequent types:

  • Common Portray
  • Blended Media
  • Electronic Media
  • Animation and
  • Pictures
