Neil Krug, 1983, USA, is a photographer and director based in Los Angeles. As Matt from the HP team not too long ago informed me: private owners, museums, or even corporations may hold the rights to photos depicting famous paintings from the likes of Degas, Monet, and Van Gogh, whose works predate 1923 (the default Public Domain date in the U.S.)!
