The Rita Marley artwork exhibition – a central element of Bob Marley’s 77th birthday celebrations – will open up this Sunday.
The Mystic of a Queen set up was organised by acclaimed curator, Berette S. Macaulay, with big input from Rita Marley’s young children, spouse and children, and cherished communities to rejoice her outstanding lifetime and achievements, and is the most recent collection extra to the Bob Marley museum. It incorporates archival pictures, particular collections, and accounts from shut good friends, associates, scholars, and liked ones.

“Her existence extends a great deal further than the boundaries of wife and mom – the recording of which stretches considerably beyond the scope of this first installation,” states Macaulay. “Rita Marley’s get the job done as a humanitarian and advocate for women’s legal rights and children’s instruction in Jamaica, Africa, and the diaspora, are cultural and social contributions that the normal public is unaware of. I appear forward to every visitor discovering a little something new,” she shared.
The Mystic of a Queen Rita Marley show will be a long lasting fixture at the Bob Marley Museum, out there for general public viewing Mondays by Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
