Musician and die-tough Newcastle United lover Sam Fender has appeared on the BBC Breakfast couch despite becoming “seriously, seriously hungover”.
Fender had travelled up to the football ground, St James’ Park, to be a part of lovers in celebrating the club’s Saudi Arabian-backed takeover. Thursday’s announcement ends Mike Ashley’s 14-calendar year command of the club.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast in a Newcastle United tracksuit, he explained his saxophone participant commenced enjoying outdoors the floor and “5,000 Geordies started out singing alongside”.
“I did about 1,000 selfies, got good mobbed… but everybody was totally class and they gave us a whole lot of cans. And I am really hungover.”
