The CBC sequence Schitt’s Creek and Anne with an E have been the top rated winners at the ACTRA Awards in Toronto.
Schitt’s Creek took the Members’ Decision Sequence Ensemble Award at the 18th once-a-year gala place on by Canada’s performers’ union in Toronto.
It is really the 2nd consecutive 12 months Schitt’s Creek gained the honour and it comes as the riches-to-rags comedy winds down its sixth and last season.
Meanwhile, Dalmar Abuzeid gained a trophy for exceptional general performance by a male for participating in a Trinidadian sailor on the coming-of-age tale Anne with an E.
And Cara Ricketts gained exceptional general performance by a female for participating in the sailor’s spouse on the sequence, which was cancelled in late November following three seasons.
Other winners integrated Bryn McAuley and Carter Hayden, who each individual gained awards for their voice function in Resort Transylvania: The Sequence.
