I know I’m not the only a person who has fond reminiscences of an adolescence stuffed with a variety of televised zoologists, who functioned as animal ambassadors to the standard general public. By their infectious enthusiasm and unabashedly enthusiastic personalities, they educated untold numbers of small children about animal habitats, adaptations, and human-designed existential threats. This weekend animal fans of all ages have the prospect to see a live presentation by Jungle Jack Hanna, alongside with a selection of furry and feathered pals, at the phase display “Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Stay!” hosted at Kodak Middle. Hanna will tell anecdotes and share footage from his world adventures, and bring out a selection of animal visitors for live demonstrations.
Saturday, March fourteen, at seven p.m. Kodak Middle, two hundred West Ridge Road. $20-$forty five. 254-0181 kodakcenter.com.
UPDATE: This event has been postponed. Message from the organizers: “We inspire you to make sure you be affected individual and hold on to your tickets, as tickets now purchased will be honored for the rescheduled event.
Kodak Middle will deliver out additional recommendations when a new day has been verified.”
