Bill Withers, the acclaimed 1970s soul singer behind hits Ain’t No Sunshine and Lean On Me has died from coronary heart issues aged eighty one, his relatives claimed.

The singer died on Monday in Los Angeles, the relatives instructed the Associated Push.

They explained him in a assertion as a “solitary gentleman with a coronary heart driven to connect to the globe”.
