CHANUTE — The Chanute Art Gallery is enthusiastic to present an exhibit of artwork with a pleasurable, summer vibe as Cheryel Cross of Oswego is sharing a few examples of her quilted artwork.

Cross did not start off quilting until right after she retired from a occupation in nursing.

In addition to sewing in her pleased spot, her quilting room, she enjoys riding motorcycles, is a seasoned traveler, and participating in with her puppy, Daisy.

Lots of of her quilts display her sense of humor, which she shares with her brother, Bob Cross, a Chanute artist.
