The Metropolis of Hamilton invites the public to an ‘All matters Hamilton’ artwork exhibition opening at the Bermuda Modern society of Arts in Metropolis Corridor at five:00pm on Friday, January seventeenth which is a further public celebration to understand the 225th anniversary of the Company of Hamilton.
A phone for artwork was introduced in November and more than 40 items of artwork have been submitted to the show. Artwork in three categories – Scholar, Novice and Skilled – have been requested and a panel of judges will decide the successful artwork in each individual category with money prizes awarded to those artists.
There will also be a People’s Alternative Award determined by ballots cast by the public at the gallery all over the length of the exhibition.
The exhibition will finish on Tuesday, February 4th. Admission to the Bermuda Modern society of Arts is free of cost.
